I'm also kind of amazed at the synchronicity, because I've been doing the same thing lately...even blogged a little about it last week. My two foil characters seem to be my Inner Drill Sergeant and one (like your Dancing Girl) who doesn't have a clear name yet but who I'm calling my Self-Nurterer for now. She's willing to have a good, honest dialogue, but I'm discovering that the Drill Sergeant doesn't even want to *listen* to anyone else, let alone engage in a conversation.
